2026 Pro70 Championship
This is the year!
For the first time since 2012 we are running a championship!
Open to drivers 16+ years old and over who meet the entry requirements, this is a 10 round series.
Listening to feedback over the years, this will be our very first weighted series. The minimum driver weight is 55kg, and drivers under 70kg’s will have additional weight added to achieve the 70kg minimum. Drivers over 70kg will not require any additional weight.
Entry qualification will be drivers who have previously achieved at least a 56 second laptime on the current circuit layout.
One bonus championship point for the fastest lap of the event.

It was all going so well…

So for once… the fastest lap of the event was actually set in PRACTICE

BIBLICAL. The ONLY way to describe this month’s Pro70 Open Race – Round 4!
Considering it was meant to be dry…
…and the Met Office (during a FULL torrential downpour 
) still claimed:

Almost to the SECOND the drivers sat down for Practice Heat 1…
Drip… Drip……and then the heavens ABSOLUTELY OPENED
Not just rain…
TORRENTIAL rain Standing water Full survival mode The kind of weather we haven’t seen at St Eval for a LONG time!
By the end of Heat 2…
The legendary St Eval Swimming Pool™ had officially appeared The track pumps had to work overtime for a 20-minute pause
…removing THOUSANDS of litres of water every minute
But once things settled down…
HEAT 3 WAS ON!…and after that?
Just “normal” rain apparently
One VERY fair point raised by the drivers:
“Do we still need ballast weights…?”Because by this stage the race suits weighed about the same
THE RACING ITSELF…Absolutely EPIC 😮🔥

SUPER clean racing all round!Only one proper moment:
Derren had a closer-than-planned meeting with karts 1, 2 & 3…
followed by a small amount of hedge DLW immediately put his hands up for that one 
But honestly — everyone drove brilliantly in seriously difficult conditions

JUNE PRO70 CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS! THE SUN CAME BACK! 
After what feels like months of racing through every weather condition imaginable 
, we finally got a wall-to-wall sunshine Pro70 race!

This month there was NO dominant driver in the heats

July Pro70 Championship Results What. A. Race.
The race was long, the heat was brutal, and the driving… absolutely sublime!
This month’s championship used our F1 Extreme format – one full hour of uninterrupted racing!
Just a couple of months ago we were racing through biblical rain … now we’ve gone completely the other way with a proper summer heatwave!

30°C air temperature Blistering track temperatures Sweat levels… off the scale!The drivers arrived looking fresh, relaxed and ready to race… but by the chequered flag they were absolutely finished!
Hydration breaks were mentioned… but everyone manned (and womaned!) up and battled on to the end!
Although… I don’t think anyone would have complained if we’d turned the bridge into a giant hosepipe shower halfway through! 
As always with the longer race formats, the field gradually spread into fantastic little battles all around the circuit, with close racing from front to back.
Battle of the DayThe standout duel simply has to go to Tris & Chris.
They traded places countless times through the first half of the race, neither driver willing to give an inch. Eventually Chris managed to edge away, but only after one of the best wheel-to-wheel battles we’ve seen this season.
When asked after the race, Tris hinted there may have been a little championship strategy involved…
With only a handful of rounds remaining, every point is becoming increasingly important…

If your not quite at the entry level for the Pro70 Championship yet, and want a taste of the action, our 2026 Rookie series is for you!
No entr requirements other than being over 16 years old.
The series is 5 rounds over the year, and all events are individual races (no championship), feel free to dip in and out as you can.
