No, if unfortunately you have missed some or all of your sessions, we cannot refund or credit.

Our opening times are on the opening Hours page. 

If you have children from 12 to 15 years old using the 12-15yo karts, parents may also use the 200cc karts. You will be driving a separate kart to the children, and must purchase one kart for each driver. Adults may not use the Adult 270cc  karts with their children.  Children ages 7-11 can only kart on their own.

Everyone receives a safety briefing before karting. This covers control of the kart, rules, and procedures. Younger children (7-11), have an additional ‘brake test’ in the pit lane prior to starting their session, the first lap for all 12 yrs + drivers is a slower ‘pace lap’ to get used to the kart and track. We advise all drivers to get used to the kart and track before attempting to kart at a higher speed.

Post Covid, all karting is now pre-booked only.  The karting sessions are booked directly from the website

You can, but we cannot guarantee we can get you on the track.  Booking online will always secure your place.

Shorts are ok, as racewear is provided to go over the top, but no open toed / open heeled footwear is permitted. No sandals, flip flops or strappy shoes allowed. Footwear must be shoes / trainers / boots.

Visit reception to sign in.  All drivers must register using the kiosk if they have not already done so on-line. Once all drivers in the group have registered, please approach the reception desk.   You will be issued tickets and balaclavas on payment. Once you have your tickets, visit the changing rooms and find a suit which fits (all labelled), follow the arrows to the appropriate area, receive the safety briefing, helmet & kart fit. Enjoy your sessions, and your results will be emailed directly to you.

No. all alcohol & drugs are banned. If any member of staff deems you under the influence, you will not be permitted to drive.

Following the MSA ban, and NKA advice, all gopro type cameras are no longer permitted.

St Eval kart circuit is not close to either public bus or train routes. Taxi would be the best option.

We are permitted to operate till 8pm Monday -Saturday, and 6pm Sundays.  Please contact us to book these later times.

No. The ages are set by the insurers, and are strictly enforced.

For 3-6 year old children we operate the Electric infant karts on a separate track. Although these are single seater karts, parents may sit on the back of the kart to provide assistance.  These are pound coin operated, weather dependant and not bookable online

Yes for all petrol karting. If the rain is torrential, we may have to pause to allow flood water to pump from the track. In normal rain condition we continue to kart.  The electric infant karts are the only karts which cannot run in the rain

Racesuit & helmets are provided. You will also be required to either purchase a balaclava or bring your own.

No, if you have registered on our digital system you do not need to register again.  You will have to agree to a new waiver each year. 

Yes. You must receive the safety briefing each day, but only before the 1st session

You earn points for each session completely which can be used for free loyalty karting

No. only our own karts may be permitted on the track.

Our adult karts have fully adjustable pedals and seats. The karts have either XL or 2XL seats. The karts can be adjusted to fit most people. If you are unsure we would advise visiting beforehand to check.  Recommended maximum is 20 stone and approx 6ft 6 tall

No. spectating is completely free.

A snack bar is onsite with a selection of chocolate and crisps, hot and cold drinks.

Yes, if you really want too.  Best option is to contact us, and we will see if we can join you with another group.

All adult & 12-15yo karts are fitted with timing transponders, you will receive electronic laptimes after each session. Cadet karts do not have timing fitted.

No, it is a practice session.

We would not recommend karting with a pre-existing injury or condition.  If in doubt please seek medical advice

Yes, glasses may be worn under the helmets.

No.  All booking is direct from the website with payment required at time of booking please.

No. You may use a 12-15yo kart to drive with your children, but we do not mix the adult 270cc karts with the children’s karts due to the speed difference.

We do have different sized karts to allow for variation in size, but if you are unsure we advise visiting prior to karting for a fitting.

No. We are not permitted floodlights, and will close at dusk or 6pm whichever is sooner (call on Saturdays).

No. we generally close at 6pm. Last admissions is normally 5pm latest.   For races upto 8pm please contact us

All children are given a safety briefing, which covers kart operation & control, track rules, flags & procedures. They are given a slower pace lap before the sessions starts. The track is fully marshalled, and we use a remote control system, which is able to slow and turn off the karts remotely. We do everything we can to prevent accidents or incidents, but it is motorsport, and motorsport can be dangerous. Despite our best efforts, accidents may still happen.

As much notice as possible is required to book a race.  At busy times of the year they can be fully booked up to 2 months in advance. The online booking system allows bookings up to 8 weeks in advance.

Please check for available times, and if it’s listed online for the same day then Yes.

No. The ages are set by the insurers, and are strictly enforced.

If young looking, and if any doubt, we will require to see photo ID with proof of DoB.

All dogs on leads are welcome. If we have reports of any poor behaviour to other animals or people the dog would have to be removed, eg back into the car.

We do not have play frames, but do have large grassed area’s suitable for play.

The track is all outdoor.

Waterproofs are not available, however standard suits are but even wearing them whilst karting, you will still get wet. It is advised to bring a spare change of clothes, if rain is forecast.

All arrival times are 45 minutes prior to start time. If you are late you will miss your event.

If you arrive after your due time, you will miss one or more of your sessions. We can not hold the sessions, as that will impact on the next sessions start time.

Yes, but as the minimum requirement is 8 drivers, we cannot refund any additional payments

No, drivers not present on the day will lose their payments. A minimum notice period of 14 days prior to race date is required for refund of deposits.

Yes, we operate in the rain. If it is torrential, we may have to pause to allow the track to drain, but normal rain is fine.

The best person to make this decision is you. You know your strengths, and limits. If unsure contact us to discuss. Ultimate decision will be made by the race controller or safety briefer.

Yes, all parking is free of charge.

Balaclavas are used for hygiene purposes for all drivers using our helmets. All balaclavas are new and yours to keep and re-use after purchase.

Yes.

Balaclavas are required by all drivers.  These can be purchased online or in reception.  You are very welcome to bring your own.

If of sufficient quality, yes. All helmets must be full face, and BS or CE marked, no camera mounts, or modifications permitted. Suits must be full length.

Yes, we accept cash, and most cards. American Express is not accepted.  Booking online will require card payment, booking on site can be either card or cash.

Yes. Vouchers for karting may be purchased online.

Yes, Giftcards, or debit cards may be used.

No, both sessions use the main circuit but at different times.  The karts do not run together

All Petrol karting sessions are 10 minutes long. You can select 1, 2 or 3 sessions from the online booking system

If the adults use the 12-15yo 200cc karts, they may kart with the children, but they are not permitted to use the faster adult 270cc kart at the same time as the children.

If notice is given prior to 14 days before the event date, yes, but within 14 days – no.  An admin fee of £10 will apply

If you have been removed from the track it would have been for a serious safety infringement. As you will have failed to of followed the rules in the safety briefing, no refund will be given for that session. However if you have more sessions which will not be used, they can be refunded.

If you are unfortunate to have a mechanical failure, your kart will be replaced on track, and extra time added to your sessions. If another kart is unavailable, you will be given the option of a refund or replacement session.

No. you may take photos from the spectator area, but are not allowed onto the track.

No, due to health and safety implications, no drones may be flown above the circuit.

Yes. Limited indoor seating is available in reception.

The majority of the site is outdoors. Although some covered viewing is available from reception, it is best to dress accordingly to the conditions, and wrap up warm in the colder months.

Yes, we are about 5 or 6 miles from both Newquay & padstow.

No. only our own karts may be permitted on the track.

We currently offer premium balaclavas, medals and trophies These are subject to availability, and may not be available at all times of year.
