Round One – 2026 Pro70 Championship

What. A. Start!

The new weighted category really shook things up this month, completely changing the usual running order!

We saw some of the closest racing in recent memory, with lighter drivers having to adapt quickly to the added weight — and they rose to the challenge in style.

Unbelievably, for mid-February, this was only our second dry day of the year!

The cold air clearly helped, with the competitors absolutely smashing it — 8 drivers dipped into the 52-second lap times!

Old-school GP format returned this month, giving us:

8 heats

2 finals

It was fascinating to see the new order emerging in the heats… especially with some of the, erm… “heavier” drivers running much higher up the field than usual!

Dan R went on an adventurous exploration of the track limits with his heavier-than-normal setup… and definitely found them

Max and Richie were locked in a fierce battle throughout. It looked like Darri might sweep through to pick up the pieces — but Max clawed it back on the very last corner!

Fastest Lap of the Event

Tristan M snatched the extra championship point with a blistering 52.787, beating Richie by just 0.004 seconds!
