February 2024 Open Grand Prix Race
what a race!
The rain added an extra element of skill to today’s race, It made for spectacular racing!
Top spot on the day went to Adam, who had an absolute blinder – quickest in qualifier for the pole and held it for an impressive win! Looking at Adam’s stat’s he’s a solid 52 second driver in the dry, so very much deserved the win!
2nd place went to Tris, repeating his performance from last month, just without the spin that cost him 10 places!
Bringing home 3rd place was Karl, placing a solid 6th place in qualifying, and gaining enough to grab the final podium please!
Notable mentions this month were:
Karl for staring down the photographer, putting the fear of god into them, and had them wondering ‘is this really the right place to stand?’ lol
Ross who after carefully studying everyone’s form, decided just to go ‘full send’ and won the honoury title of ‘DK – Drift King’ for the race!
Finally James , another old face who was great to see again.
